Free restaurant billing with KOT and running tables
Take the order at the table, send a KOT to the kitchen, keep several tables running, and settle each bill with the right GST in a tap. It works on a phone, tablet or counter computer, offline too, with no login and no monthly fee.
How to make a restaurant bill here
- Set up once. Open "Restaurant details and bill settings": name, address, GSTIN and UPI ID, and the GST that applies to you: 5% for most restaurants, 18% inside a hotel with room tariffs above ₹7,500 a day, composition or not registered.
- Open a table. Choose Dine-in and type the table number, or Takeaway / Delivery. Add dishes: saved dishes come up with their price.
- Send the KOT. Press "Print KOT (new items)". Only dishes not yet sent go to the kitchen, with your notes ("less spicy"). Add more dishes later and print another KOT.
- Keep tables running. Press "Save table, take next order". Running tables show as buttons at the top; tap one to go back to it.
- Settle the bill. Add a discount or, if the guest agrees, a service charge. Split the bill among guests if they ask. Pick cash, UPI, card or credit and press "Settle and print bill".
- See the day. Every settled bill is saved under Saved bills and counts as a sale in the free Nivesh Sahayak App.
What it does for you
- Running tables: any number of open orders at once, each with its own KOTs, saved in the browser so a reload never loses them.
- Kitchen order tickets: only new items, with quantity and kitchen notes, numbered KOT 1, 2, 3 for each table.
- One GST rate per bill: 5% (CGST 2.5% + SGST 2.5%) or 18%, worked out on food, less discount, plus any service charge.
- Split bill: shows what each person pays.
- Thermal or A4: 80 mm and 58 mm rolls for the counter, A5 or A4 for a company guest who wants a full bill with their GSTIN.
- UPI QR: an unsettled bill prints a UPI QR code with the exact amount.
